ÂVan Waas produces an array of flexible textile expansion joints. These expansion joints are made to cushion
movement, reduce vibrations, and establish thermal as well as acoustic insulation. All our expansion joints are easy to assemble and disassemble, fit a range of temperatures, and are custom made.
econtras® flexible textile expansion joints are capable of cushioning axial, lateral, and angular movements in the pipe network making them a good connection between moving parts under a range of conditions.
Because there a very diverse production processes in industrial installations, van Waas takes different factors such as the temperature, internal and external pressure, applicable movements, and the surroundings into consideration when designing expansion joints. This way van Waas will offer you a custom made technical solution.
For our expansion joints we use materials such as Silica, Viton®, Hypalon®, several high temperature fillings, RVS mesh and PTFE.
Examples of econtras® expansion joints are fireretardant bellows, bellows between two units (such as HVAC, kettles, etc.), and high temperature bellows up to 600℃.
